Recognition of mental health as an illness.Description: The assessment specialist RN will work with a patient population of all ages, from 18 to 99. The facility has 24 beds with a patient ratio of 1:4. The role includes assessment and intake of patients. Common diagnoses and treatments include detox, depression, and psychosis. Candidates should demonstrate compassion for mental health. The ability to remain unbothered by patient comments is essential. Proactivity during downtime is an important quality for this position. Dress code requires navy blue scrubs or business casual attire.
