We are looking for a detail-oriented Patient Registrar to support patient access and registration activities for a Contract position based in Boston, Massachusetts. This role plays an important part in creating a smooth experience for patients by managing intake, admission, scheduling coordination, and front-end administrative support. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare setting, communicates effectively with patients and providers, and maintains accuracy across registration and insurance-related processes.

Responsibilities:
• Manage patient intake and inpatient admission activities with a strong focus on accuracy, timeliness, and service quality.
• Coordinate with clinic staff and care management teams to help arrange appointments and support same-day scheduling needs.
• Work closely with referring providers to guide patients from referral through appointment setup in an organized and efficient manner.
• Support uninsured patients by assisting with financial counseling-related processes and helping direct them to appropriate resources.
• Verify and enter registration, scheduling, and insurance information while maintaining complete and accurate records.
• Provide general office and administrative support, including handling scanned documents, filing records, faxing materials, and completing related clerical tasks.
• Deliver courteous customer service to patients, families, and internal teams while addressing questions and resolving routine issues.
• Maintain compliance with healthcare documentation standards and protect sensitive patient information throughout all registration activities.• At least 2 years of experience in patient scheduling, patient registration, and insurance verification within a healthcare environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to navigate healthcare-related software and registration systems.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and common clinical or administrative workflows.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with patients, providers, and colleagues.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• High level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail when handling patient and insurance information.
• Bilingual English and Spanish language skills are preferred.
