Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Summary:

The Emergency Room RN will provide critical care to patients in a fast-paced, free-standing emergency and urgent care facility. This role involves delivering high-quality, timely interventions and maintaining compliance with hospital standards.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Administer emergency care and stabilize patients upon arrival.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  
  
• 
  Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in Epic.
  
  
• 
  Respond swiftly to emergency situations, utilizing advanced life support skills.
  
  
• 
  Ensure compliance with all certifications and licensing requirements.
  
  
• 
  Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and post-discharge care.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a valid, active SC or Multi-State/Compact RN license.
  
  
• 
  Possess at least 2 years of emergency room experience.
  
  
• 
  Maintain current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications; CPI and TNCC preferred.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate proficiency with Epic electronic charting.
  
  
• 
  Ability to work 12-hour day shifts, including weekends.
  
  
• 
  Capable of functioning effectively during hurricane season response activities.
