Location: Davenport, Iowa
Starting Bonus: $10,000

Position Overview

We are in search of a committed and team-oriented Advanced Practice Provider (PA) to enhance our Pulmonary team within an outpatient environment. This position emphasizes delivering exceptional, patient-focused care in collaboration with our Pulmonary and Critical Care physicians, ensuring seamless care for individuals with various respiratory issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver thorough outpatient care for pulmonary patients, encompassing evaluation, diagnosis, and management of both acute and chronic respiratory ailments.
• Work closely with Pulmonary and Critical Care physicians to oversee shared patient panels.
• Conduct follow-up appointments, manage medications, and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Facilitate care coordination across different specialties, including referrals, testing, and procedures.
• Provide education to patients and their families regarding disease processes, treatment options, and preventive measures.
• Analyze diagnostic tests such as pulmonary function assessments, imaging studies, and laboratory results.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record system.

Practice Details

• Exclusively outpatient pulmonary clinic.
• No inpatient duties required.
• Collaborative environment with a team of Pulmonary and Critical Care physicians.
• Established patient base supported by a robust referral network.
• Access to supportive clinical and administrative staff.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Board certification (or eligibility).
• Active or eligible for licensure in Iowa.
• Experience in pulmonary, critical care, or internal medicine is preferred but not mandatory.
• Excellent clinical, communication, and teamwork abilities.

Schedule & Work Environment

• Full-time position with a weekday schedule.
• No night shifts, weekends, or on-call duties.
• Team-oriented and collegial atmosphere focused on delivering high-quality care.
