Low Voltage Cable Technician

Overview We are looking for both experienced and non experienced individuals. On the job training is available for the right fit. Responsibilities Assist with the install, service, repair and maintenance of all category copper cable, coax, and fiber optic cable. Install racks, patch panels, wire managers in MDFs and IDFs. Build out of MDF and IDFs, including installing racks, patch panels, wire managers, and network electronics. Use test equipment and appropriate hand tools as needed during installation or repair. Provide appropriate customer service when responding to a customer request or fulfilling project requirements. Qualifications Some experience is preferred in installing, testing and troubleshooting copper and fiber cable systems, but not necessary. On the job training is available. Physical ability to lift up to 60 pounds, work on ladders, scissor lifts, use power tools; ability to work in confined spaces. Must be able to tell the difference between like colors. Professional appearance and demeanor. Strong communication skills, work ethic and ability to work as a team or individually. Construction site knowledge and experience is a plus. Ability to pass background check and drug screening. Must have reliable vehicle and valid driver's license. Pay is based on experience level.
