Chatham Rescue Squad – Chatham, NY
Pay: $30.00/hour

Position Details

• Full‑time: 36 hours per week
• Schedule: Flexible shifts (days, nights, weekends)
• Pay: $33.00/hr. +$2.00 Weekend Differential

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced life support (ALS) care in accordance with NYS and regional protocols
• Assess, treat, and transport patients safely and effectively
• Collaborate with EMTs, Paramedics, and local public safety partners
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient care documentation
• Ensure ambulance, equipment, and medical supplies are ready for service
• Communicate professionally with patients, families, and healthcare personnel

Qualifications

• Current NYS Paramedic certification
• Current CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
• Strong clinical decision‑making and communication skills
• Ability to lift and move patients/equipment as required
