UX Strategist

The Opportunity:Support Department of War missions by designing and shaping intuitive, data-driven experience s for our product web application implementations. Blend UX strategy, user research, and hands-on interface design to ensure that warfighters, analysts, and civilian mission partners can navigate complex information and make time critical decisions with clarity and confidence. Lead end-to end experience strategy, including user research, journey mapping, and workflow analysis. Design high-quality user interfaces, wireframes, prototypes, and interaction models for operational web applications. Translate complex mission needs into simple, intuitive digital experience s. Collaborate across product and engineering teams to ensure that design decisions enhance operational readiness and align with customer goals.You Have:3+ years of experience with UX strategy, user research, UI / UX design, or product experience rolesExperience designing data-heavy, mission-focused web applicationsKnowledge of Figma, Adobe XD, or SketchKnowledge of information architecture, interaction design, and design systemsKnowledge of Section 508 or WCAG accessibility and usability best practicesAbility to conduct user interviews, usability testing, and workflow studies with technical and non-technical usersAbility to produce wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and polished UI designsAbility to translate complex mission or analytical concepts into intuitive user experience sAbility to obtain a Secret clearanceHS diploma or GEDNice If You Have:Experience working with Department of War customersExperience in Agile environments working closely with product managers and engineersExperience with building or contributing to scalable design systemsKnowledge of operational, analytical, or planning workflows used within the Department of WarKnowledge of research synthesis met hods such as journey mapping, persona development, and ecosystem mappingClearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information .CompensationAt Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,500.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
