Location: Palm Beach, FL (Hybrid – 3 Days in Office) Job Type: Permanent About the Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Litigation Secretary to join an established and growing legal practice in Palm Beach, Florida. This opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented legal professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys supporting attorneys through all stages of litigation, and takes pride in maintaining organized, efficient case workflows. The role offers the opportunity to work closely with attorneys in a professional, collaborative environment that values precision, responsiveness, and high-quality legal support. Candidates with prior insurance defense experience are strongly preferred, although professionals with other relevant litigation backgrounds are encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to attorneys handling litigation matters. Prepare, format, proofread, and revise legal documents, pleadings, correspondence, and other case-related materials. Manage attorney calendars, schedule hearings, depositions, meetings, and other important litigation events. Track court deadlines, filing dates, and case schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks. Qualifications 5+ years of experience as a Litigation Secretary, Legal Secretary, or in a comparable legal support role. Previous insurance defense experience is highly preferred; candidates with other litigation experience will also be considered. Strong knowledge of litigation procedures, legal terminology, and court filing requirements. Excellent document preparation, proofreading, calendaring, and organizational skills. Ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment. Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for this position is between $80,000 – $85,000 . Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
