School Psychologist

School Psychologist Employment Type: FullTime, Contract Job Location: Auburn, WA A school district in Auburn, Washington is seeking a qualified School Psychologist for a fulltime, schoolbased contract . This position serves K12 students and focuses on assessment, intervention, and collaboration to support academic achievement and socialemotional development. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to evaluate academic, cognitive, and socialemotional functioning Interpret assessment results and prepare clear, compliant written evaluation reports Participate in IEP meetings , eligibility determinations, and multidisciplinary team discussions Consult with teachers, administrators, and families regarding student learning, behavior, and mental health needs Support the development and monitoring of Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) Assist with MTSS, early intervention, and school-based mental health initiatives as applicable Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations Support a safe, inclusive, and student-centered learning environment Qualifications Active Washington School Psychologist certification/licensure (or eligibility to obtain) Ability to pass background checks, fingerprinting, and district clearances Licensing and credentialing support may be available for eligible candidates Education Master's degree, Educational Specialist (Ed.S.), or higher in School Psychology or a related field Experience Prior school-based experience preferred New graduates with appropriate credentials and internship experience are encouraged to apply Skills Strong assessment, data interpretation, and report-writing skills Excellent verbal and written communication abilities Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams Strong organizational and time-management skills Commitment to supporting diverse student populations Work Hours Monday–Friday 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM Approximately 3740 hours per week Compensation & Benefits Weekly pay Competitive hourly compensation based on experience and credentials Medical, dental, and vision insurance options 401(k) retirement plan options Ongoing clinical and administrative support throughout the assignment Professional development and continuing education resources Opportunity for contract renewal or extension Housing and travel assistance for eligible candidates Compensation for this position ranges from $45.00 to $85.00.
