Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR), Travel

Weekly pay: $1,770 - $1,888 per week
Shift: Days, 10-hour shifts (4x10)
Setting: acute care perioperative service
This travel assignment is in a perioperative clinical setting staffed by a multidisciplinary team. The RN will provide perioperative nursing care aligned with state practice requirements and ANA standards, under a nursing practice framework that supports evidence-based care and professional development.

Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive perioperative nursing care across preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases for surgical patients.
- Assess patient status, monitor vital signs, assist with anesthesia equipment, maintain sterile technique, and advocate for patient safety and comfort.
- Collaborate with licensed and unlicensed team members; communicate with patients, families, and significant others; document care accurately.
- Uphold professional standards and organizational policies; align practice with the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics.
- Participate in postoperative recovery activities, ensure continuity of care, and contribute to quality improvement efforts within the perioperative environment.

Requirements
- Active Georgia RN license
- Perioperative nursing experience preferred
- Ability to work day shifts, 10-hour days, in a travel assignment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; patient- and family-centered approach
- Eligibility to work in the United States for a travel assignment
- Demonstrated ability to follow state practice acts and professional standards in a perioperative setting
