Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated post-anesthesia nursing care for an assigned patient group following established standards and the nursing process
- Monitor and assess patients in the PACU, including vital signs, pain control, airway status, and recovery milestones
- Develop and implement a care plan, administer medications per orders, and coordinate care with the multidisciplinary team
- Document care in the electronic health record (Epic) and communicate patient status to the treatment team and family
- Participate in discharge planning and provide education to patients and families to support continuity of care

Requirements
- Active RN license in the state of practice
- BLS and ACLS; PALS required
- Minimum of 2 years of recent RN experience in PACU or acute care
- BSN preferred
- Must have Epic EMR experience
- Ability to work the listed day shift and meet guaranteed hours
