Product Portfolio Manager
Accreditation Council For Graduate Medical Education
Overview About us We are the independent expert in assurance and risk management. Driven by our purpose, to safeguard life, property, and the environment, we empower our customers and their stakeholders with facts and reliable insights so that critical decisions can be made with confidence. As a trusted voice for many of the world's most successful organizations, we use our knowledge to advance safety and performance, set industry benchmarks, and inspire and invent solutions to tackle global transformations. About Energy Systems We help customers navigate the complex transition to a decarbonized and more sustainable energy future. We do this by assuring that energy systems work safely and effectively, using solutions that are increasingly digital. We also help industries and governments to navigate the many complex, interrelated transitions taking place globally and regionally, in the energy industry. About the role We are looking for a Product Portfolio Manager to define and drive the long‑term strategy of a diverse and growing portfolio of digital solutions for critical energy infrastructure. This role is critical to shaping the future of the portfolio by establishing a clear, unified strategy and identity across products that have historically evolved independently. A key part of this mandate is to strengthen a platform‑oriented approach, ensuring that common capabilities, architectures, and enablers are leveraged across products to drive scalability, consistency, and long‑term value. The focus is on creating coherence, strategic alignment, and sustainable impact at portfolio level, while ensuring that each product continues to deliver on its specific purpose and strengths. A strong customer‑centric perspective underpins the role, ensuring that portfolio decisions are guided by customer needs, market relevance, and clear value propositions across the product landscape. This role is available at one of our DNV USA offices on a Hybrid schedule. What you will do Define, own, and continuously evolve the overall product portfolio and platform strategy, ensuring alignment to a common strategic direction and value proposition. Create and articulate a unified product and platform identity and narrative, transitioning from multiple standalone product lines to a coherent portfolio approach. Translate long‑term strategic vision into clear priorities and actionable guidance that enables consistent execution across products. Ensure strong alignment between individual product strategies, platform evolution, and the overarching portfolio strategy. Act as the strategic connector between product managers, business lines, technology teams, and other key stakeholders. Challenge and guide product teams to ensure roadmaps meaningfully contribute to the long‑term portfolio vision. Monitor portfolio performance to identify gaps, overlaps, risks, and opportunities, proposing corrective or optimizing actions where needed. Influence senior stakeholders and cross‑functional teams to drive the portfolio in the desired strategic direction, achieving impact through collaboration rather than formal authority. Success in this role is demonstrated through a clearly articulated and widely adopted portfolio and platform strategy, where all products move coherently in the same strategic direction while preserving their individual value. Strong alignment between business strategy, product roadmaps, and customer and market needs results in increased clarity, focus, and a measurable long‑term impact of the overall product portfolio. What we offer Generous paid time off (vacation, sick days, company holidays, personal days) Multiple Medical and Dental benefit plans to choose from, Vision benefits Spending accounts FSA, Dependent Care, Commuter Benefits, company‑seeded HSA Employer‑paid, therapist‑led, virtual care services through Talkspace 401(k) with company match Company provided life insurance, short‑term, and long‑term disability benefits Education reimbursement program Flexible work schedule with hybrid opportunities Charitable Matched Giving and Volunteer Rewards through our Impact Program Volunteer time off (VTO) paid by the company Career advancement opportunities Benefits vary based on position, tenure, location, and employee election. Equal Opportunity DNV is a proud equal‑opportunity employer committed to building an inclusive and diverse workforce. All employment is decided on the basis of qualifications, merit, or business need, without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or protected veteran status. DNV is committed to ensuring equal employment opportunity, including providing reasonable accommodations to individuals with disabilities. US applicants with a physical or mental disability who require reasonable accommodation for any part of the application or hiring process may contact the North America Recruitment Department (View email address on click.appcast.io). Information received relating to accommodation will be addressed confidentially. For more information About you 10+ years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of managing and shaping product portfolios at scale within global organizations, ideally in the energy sector. Experience defining and driving long‑term product or portfolio strategies, from vision to execution, across multiple products, markets, or business lines. Strong expertise in product portfolio and lifecycle management, including prioritization, optimization, consolidation, and end‑of‑life decisions. Solid understanding of platform‑based product models, shared capabilities, and how platforms enable scale and coherence across multiple products. Demonstrated ability to translate strategic and customer‑centric objectives into actionable guidance that enables aligned execution across product teams and stakeholders. Extensive experience working in complex, matrixed environments, influencing outcomes across functions without direct authority. 5+ years' work experience in the energy sector Strong analytical and structured thinking skills, with the ability to balance strategic insight, customer impact, and practical decision‑making. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, able to align senior leaders, product teams, and business functions. This role requires a strategic, forward‑looking mindset with a clear focus on long‑term value creation. Strong written and verbal English communication skills. We conduct pre‑employment drug and background screening. Immigration‑related employment benefits, for example visa sponsorship, are not available for this position. You operate comfortably in ambiguity, bringing structure, clarity, and focus to complex portfolio challenges and enabling effective decision‑making with incomplete information. Success depends on your ability to influence without authority—building trust, aligning diverse stakeholders, and driving outcomes through insight and credibility. A collaborative approach, constructive challenge, and a strong sense of ownership and accountability enable you to operate effectively as a senior individual contributor and drive impact through others. #J-18808-Ljbffr
