AboutScottCoatings: ScottCoatingsisacommercialandindustrialcoatingscontractorservingthePacificNorthwest.Wearebuildingahigh-performanceprojectmanagementfunctionanchoredinclearstandards,disciplineduseofProcore,Sage,andSharePoint,andacultureofownershipandaccountability.Ourteammembersareexpectedtodemonstratecompetence,documenttheirwork,andgrowthroughastructureddevelopmentpathway. AbouttheRole: TheProjectManagerisresponsibleforplanning,executing,andclosingprojectswithinscope,schedule,andbudget.Thisroleensuresqualitystandardsaremetwhilemaintainingstrongclientrelationshipsandcoordinatinginternalresourceseffectively.TheProjectManagerservesastheprimarypointofcontactforclientsandGCsonassignedprojectsandisaccountablefordeliveringeachprojectontime,withinbudget,safely,andtotheclient'sfullsatisfaction. Whatyouwillown: Developandmanageprojectplans,schedules,andbudgetsfromawardthroughcloseout. CoordinateprojectstartupwiththeGeneralSuperintendent,Foreman,andclient. Monitorprojectprogressandproactivelymanagerisk,adjustingplansasneededtomeetobjectives. Owntheprojectbudgetfromawardthroughcloseout,trackingcostsagainstestimatesandapprovingfieldpurchasesandsubcontractorinvoiceswithinauthorizationlimits. Identifyscopeandpricingchangespromptly,documenttheminwriting,andprepare,submit,andnegotiatechangeorderstoprotectScottCoatings'contractposition. Coordinatewithclients,vendors,andinternalteams;attendprojectmeetings,OACmeetings,andsitewalks;prepareandpresentprojectstatusreportstostakeholders. Ensurecompliancewithsafety,quality,andcontractualrequirements,partneringwiththeSuperintendentonfieldexecutionandqualityoversight. Confirmsubcontractorsmeetallinsurance,safety,andcompliancerequirements. Manageprojectcloseout:punchlistcompletion,closeoutdocumentation,warranties,O&Msubmittals,finalbilling,lienwaivers,andpost-projectfinancialreview. Whatwearelookingfor: Bachelor'sdegreeinConstructionManagement,Business,orarelatedfield,orequivalentindustryexperience. Minimum3–5yearsofprojectmanagementexperienceinconstructionorasimilarindustry. Strongleadership,organizational,andmulti-projectmanagementskills. Excellentcommunicationandnegotiationabilities,withatrackrecordofresolvingclientconcernsprofessionally. Proficiencyinprojectmanagementsoftware,BluebeamandtheMicrosoftOfficeSuite(Excel,Word,Outlook). ExperiencewithAIAbillingandconstructioncontractadministration. PreferredQualifications: Priorexperiencewithcommercialpainting,coatings,orrelatedspecialtycontracting. PMPorotherprojectmanagementcredentials. OSHA30certificationorwillingnesstoobtain.
