PT - Physical Therapist

Outpatient Physical Therapist Position

This is a 13-week contract position.

Monday - Thursday: 8 AM - 5 PM; Friday: 8 AM - 2 PM

The Outpatient Physical Therapist will evaluate assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify treatment plans based on patient needs, goals, and physician direction. This role includes directing therapy services, ensuring the design of functional treatment programs, and serving as an educator for patients, families, students, and coworkers.

Responsibilities:

• Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
• Develop appropriate treatment plans and goals focusing on patient progression towards discharge.
• Ensure accurate and timely medical record documentation in compliance with all guidelines.
• Participate in the educational development of students within the program.
• Maintain professional licensure and complete necessary continuing education requirements.
• Engage in performance improvement initiatives to enhance service quality.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience.
• Active CPR certification.
• Orthopedic experience required.
• State licensure in good standing for practice.
