Pharmacy Technician

The Retail Pharmacy Technician is responsible for assisting pharmacists in the outpatient pharmacy setting by accurately filling prescriptions, maintaining patient profiles, and managing inventory. This role ensures efficient pharmacy operations and supports the delivery of high-quality pharmaceutical care in a retail environment. A minimum of two years of retail pharmacy experience and Colorado Pharmacy Technician certification are required. Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists with prescription filling and verification processes.
• Update and maintain accurate patient profiles and medication records.
• Manage and replenish pharmacy stock and inventory.
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and safety standards.
• Provide excellent customer service and support to patients and pharmacy staff.
• Perform clerical tasks such as data entry and record keeping as needed.

• Colorado Pharmacy Technician Certification (DORA).
• Minimum of 2 years retail pharmacy experience.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment.

• Experience with pharmacy management software and electronic health records.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Must adhere to all regulatory and safety standards for pharmacy operations.
• Position requires standing for extended periods and handling pharmacy stock.

• Full-time position with shifts scheduled according to pharmacy hours of operation.
• May include evenings, weekends, or holidays as required by the retail pharmacy schedule.
