Certified Medical Assistant

Responsibilities: * Handle all duties in a timely manner * Perform routine clinical tasks to support the providers * Check Vital signs, administer glucose drinks, administer any appropriate therapeutic injections/vaccinations, and perform finger sticks for glucose and hemoglobin level checks. * Collect and order specimens * Collect and order pathologies * HIPAA compliance * Work together with all departments to ensure continuity of care for patients * Set up and assist providers with in-office procedures * Facilitate Fetal Non-stress tests * Training, Stocking, and appropriate labeling * Escort patients to exam rooms, act as a chaperone for routine exams * Charting in Electronic Medical Records systems * Understand navigating medical records for pertinent tasks Qualifications: * Preferred previous experience in healthcare or other related fields * Preferred familiarity with medical billing procedures and health insurances * Strong teamwork skills * Dedication to outstanding patient care, and teamwork among coworkers * Dependability * Preferred basic understanding of ICD 10 codes * Medical Assistant or relevant certifications are preferred * Strong organizational skills * Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Full Time Position, Monday through Friday about 7:45am-4:30/5:00pm daily Company Description We encourage qualified individuals who are passionate about Women Health's to apply for this rewarding opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of families during their most important moments.
