Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality physical therapy services to residents in a skilled nursing facility
- Implement treatment plans designed by the Physical Therapist to help patients regain mobility and function
- Document patient progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Educate patients and families on exercises and home care strategies
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care
Qualifications
- Current state license as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
- Graduation from an accredited PTA program
- Open to new graduates - no experience required
- CPR certification preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong clinical skills in rehabilitation and patient care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach
