Grow With Us.J&K Commercial Construction is expanding our stainless steel manufacturing division, and we’re looking for a dependable, hardworking Shop Laborer / Stainless Steel Polisher to join our team.This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands and wants to learn the metal fabrication trade while getting paid.We provide hands-on training and opportunities to cross-train in different areas of our manufacturing operation. As your abilities grow, you'll have opportunities to learn additional equipment, fabrication processes, and positions within J&K.We want people who want to learn, become more skilled, and grow with the company.WHAT YOU’LL DODeburr sheet metal productsUse grinders, Scotch-Brite wheels, soft spirals, deburring tools, and other finishing equipmentDeburr and prepare fabricated componentsAssist with assembling stainless steel cabinets, display cases, and commercial kitchen equipmentAssist fabrication crews as neededPackage and crate finished productsLoad and unload trucksMove materials using pallet jacks and forkliftsRead basic fabrication drawingsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe shopLearn additional fabrication processes as your skills developWHAT WE’RE LOOKING FORReliability and punctuality are extremely important at J&K.
