Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor with WPS, you will be responsible for a variety of therapeutic services that include:

• Group Therapy: Facilitate engaging group sessions where clients can connect, share experiences, and learn coping strategies from one another.

• Individual Therapy: Conduct personalized counseling sessions that allow clients to explore their thoughts and emotions, helping them to develop effective coping mechanisms and action plans.

• Treatment Planning: Collaborate with clients in creating tailored treatment plans that address their specific mental health needs, preferences, and goals.

• Progress Monitoring: Continuously evaluate client progress using various assessment tools, ensuring they are on track in their recovery journey.

• Team Collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team of professionals to provide coordinated care, regularly communicating and consulting on complex cases.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will focus on young adults aged 18 to 30, a demographic often facing significant transitional challenges that impact their mental health. You will address a range of issues including anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and self-esteem, providing them with the tools they need to navigate their journeys effectively.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.

• Active Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license in the state of New Jersey.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive, ranging from USD 85,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and education.
