Salary: $65 - $68 per hour A Bit About Us*** This position is remote but the ideal candidate will live in the D.C., Maryland, or Virginia (DMV) market and must be a US Citizen.*** What we offer:

- Design and develop Appian applications, following the user experience principles found in the Digital Services Playbook ( and the U.S. Web Design Standards (
- Design and develop the system to set the standard for future development, crafting an architecture that smoothly works with existing infrastructure without compromising security.
- Introduce new opportunities to build platform-based solutions to help the users meet their toughest challenges and resolve identified systems integration issues in a timely manner.
- Experience implementing a Cloud BPM implementation for the Federal Government.
- Experience developing and integrating Appian CMS, Apache Spark, Java, Python, AWS (EMR, AWS Lambda, AWS RDS services).
- Experience in RDBMS’s Oracle, Snowflake, SQL Server, and hands-on experience of SQL/PL SQL.
- Experience in leading facilitated code review sessions with subject matter experts to gather and confirm product and data requirements.
- Minimum 5 years of Software Engineering and development experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience developing with Appian.
- Minimum 5 years of experience supporting agile-based development teams.
- Appian Associate Developer or higher Certification with knowledge of Appian concepts and tools as well as delivering scalable solutions.
- Must have or be making an effort to obtain a Senior Appian Certification.
