Job Title: Forklift Operator – Swing Shift

Job Description

This role combines forklift operation with hands-on general labor in a fast-paced airfreight environment. You stage and load trays for airfreight, handle inventory and picking tasks, and perform frequent manual labor to support efficient warehouse and freight operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently to move, stage, and load cookie trays and other freight for air transport.
• Perform general labor tasks, including frequent lifting, carrying, and manual handling of materials throughout the shift.
• Stage and organize cookie trays and related freight in designated areas to ensure timely loading for airfreight schedules.
• Load and unload freight from trucks and staging areas, ensuring accuracy and proper placement for air shipment.
• Support inventory activities by locating, picking, and preparing items for shipment according to instructions.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency in a fast-paced warehouse and airport environment.
• Follow all safety procedures and operational guidelines while working around forklifts, freight, and airport-related equipment.
• Collaborate with team members and shift partners to complete daily workload within scheduled shift hours.

This is a Contract position based out of Hawthorne, CA.

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Hawthorne,CA.
