What is the Role? We are looking for part‑time retail Sales Associates to join our CAMP Century City team. You will be responsible for guiding families through our retail experience, ensuring they have a magical experience and want to return. Bring the CAMP brand to life. Provide a fully immersive experience for customers of all ages by: Engaging in conversations with families about their interests and age groups and introducing them to relevant items, ultimately generating purchases. Welcoming every guest who walks into our store with a custom greeting and performing your own magic door entrance. Playing with and engaging families as they journey through the CAMP experience. Demoing and playing with products. Working at the crafting or slime bar. Customizing personal shopping experiences for each family based on their interests and what they’d like to bring home that day. Checking families out at the register and informing them about upcoming programs or other CAMP news. Achieve sales targets and KPIs through a consistent commitment to providing best‑in‑class selling experiences. Build a repeat customer base by creating a selling culture that is approachable, unique, and tailored to individual customer needs. Support a positive and productive work environment that fosters diversity, inclusivity, teamwork, creativity, and a passion for the Camp brand. Assist in merchandising and replenishing the sales floor to ensure the store is fully stocked and always customer‑ready. Communicate customer and store needs to the General Manager and store leadership to ensure efficient operation at all times. Assist with Back‑of‑House tasks to maintain organized and efficient store operations. Support the General Manager and leadership team with goal achievement (KPIs). You will report to the General Manager (GM) of your home store location. Other duties as assigned. Requirements Weekends must be available. Ability to work at least one weekend day per week, ideally both. This role is part‑time, with approximately 20 hours per week. Positive attitude in all situations. Passion for selling and working with people. Prior work experience in retail, child‑care, child development/education, or performing arts. Excellence, enthusiasm, and excitement around engaging with children and families creatively. Desire to be part of a tight‑knit team looking to transform the traditional retail experience. Physical Demands Ability to stock merchandise from receiving to shelving; lift up to 45 pounds and reach various heights, including climbing ladders. Exposure to outdoor elements such as sun, precipitation, and wind. Continuous sitting, standing, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, and walking around the store. Occasional safe operation of manual and electrical equipment. Ability to be on feet for up to 8 hours per shift and continuously move around all areas of the store. Kneeling and squatting from time to time when engaging children or stocking/restocking shelves. Compensation $19.00 per hour.
