Job Title: EP Lab Tech : Cardiology / Electrophysiology
Location: Austin, TX
Setting: Clinical (Electrophysiology Laboratory at St Davids Medical Center)
Pay Range: Discuss with Recruiter
Schedule: 6:30AM - 5:00PM (Note: Rotating, Variable shifts to meet operational needs)
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Candidate Type: Traveler friendly – travel reimbursement available

Requirements:

• 1+ years of cath lab or electrophysiology scrub experience
• Qualified applicants MUST have RCIS, RCES, and ARRT certifications
• Valid Technologist license or certification in the state of Texas
• Be willing to obtain State licensure if not already licensed

Preferred:

• Greater than 1 year of scrub experience in cath lab or EP lab

Responsibilities:

As a healthcare professional in a clinical electrophysiology unit, you will be responsible for supporting procedures such as ablations, device implants, device extractions, and structural heart cases. Your attention to detail and adaptability ensure high-quality patient care and team cohesion.

• Assist with EP lab procedures utilizing expertise with electrophysiology mapping systems such as Carto, Abbott, Boston Scientific, and Medtronic.
• Support the team in preparing and maintaining state-of-the-art electrophysiology equipment and ensuring adherence to hospital policies.
• Provide exceptional patient care and safety during complex cardiac procedures in a fast-paced environment.
