Concrete Carpenter

The Concrete Carpenter oversees layout, formwork, reinforcement, and finishing for a variety of structural and site concrete elements, ensuring work meets quality, safety, and schedule expectations on commercial and industrial projects.

Essential Skills

• 2–3+ years of concrete carpentry experience.
• Hands-on experience with concrete footings and foundations.
• Experience working on commercial and industrial construction projects.
• Proficiency with bollard and sidewalk installation.
• Experience installing and tying rebar and other reinforcement.
• Proven ability in concrete pours, including preparation and placement.
• Experience with concrete construction and formwork systems.
• Concrete finishing skills, including surface finishing and detail work.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
• Strong carpentry skills, including framing and finish carpentry in a concrete construction context.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Broad experience across concrete, construction, and carpentry disciplines.
• Background in both structural concrete work and site concrete features such as curbs and sidewalks.
• Experience working on large-scale facility projects.
• Ability to lead and coordinate a field crew on active construction sites.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

This position is primarily outdoors at a large, active construction site, supporting a facility expansion. Work takes place around heavy equipment, concrete placement operations, and formwork systems in a field environment. The role requires working in varying weather conditions and on different site surfaces, with a focus on safe practices and coordination with other trades and crews.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fletcher, OK. The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $33.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
