If you are unable to complete this application due to a disability, contact this employer to ask for an accommodation or an alternative application process. 2nd Shift - Quality Control Inspector Manual Labor Gurnee, IL, US Salary Range: $20.00 To $27.00 Hourly Job Location: Onsite – Gurnee, IL The Role: The Quality Control Inspector ensures finished products and raw materials meet quality control requirements and interacts with production, purchasing, and shipping departments. What You Will Do: Inspect the quality of raw materials and outsourced products requiring incoming inspection. Document defective findings and communicate quality issues to supply chain to resolve them. Check the filling line before each production run to ensure: all packaging materials from the previous run are removed, the line is cleaned and validated (if required), and correct packaging types are present. Inspect finished products for fill weight, heat seal, color and odor, lot number, application and removal torque, general appearance, pallet configurations, and other criteria. Document quality control findings and review daily production batch records. Archive production records and associated quality documents. Train production personnel on quality procedures. Work with the production department to resolve quality issues with finished products. Perform detailed quality control inspection of first runs of new products.
