Business Analyst

Business Analyst ISavvee Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst I to support our federal client onsite in Washington, D.C. The ideal candidate will excel at research, case management, and administrative coordination, ensuring proposal reviews remain organized, accurate, and on schedule within a fast-paced federal program environment. This individual will support analytical teams by maintaining records, tracking critical actions and dependencies, preparing documentation, and contributing to the efficient review of AI technology export proposals.Essential FunctionsConducting research and organizing proposal materials and supporting evidence by review area.Building and maintaining the evidence index (source, location, version, and applicable criterion) for each proposal so findings can be validated without reconstructing the submission.Supporting completeness reviews by populating the requirement-level completeness matrix (criterion, cited evidence, assessment, deficiency or question, recommended next step) and supporting compliance reviews and analytical documentation for Government consideration within timeframes that support the 14-business-day window.Supporting substantive reviews by assembling evidence on consortium structure, ownership and control information, full-stack technology package descriptions, and national interest statements.Distinguishing applicant assertions from corroborated information and flag discrepancies, unsupported claims, and information gaps.Maintaining controlled case records, version control, source documentation, review status, milestones, open questions, dependencies, and pending actions for each assigned proposal and running targeted impact checks when new or revised submissions arrive.Maintaining case management and tracking records (proposal status, review milestones, dependencies, pending actions, deficiencies, interagency inputs, risks, and matters requiring Government decision) and supporting its bi-weekly reconciliation and quality control.Tracking interagency stakeholder inputs, deficiencies, dependencies, clarification requests, and follow-up actions through closure and tying each stakeholder comment to the relevant proposal element or issue and recording its disposition.Inputting and maintaining Government-designated proposal tracking and document management systems accurately and on time (98% accuracy/timeliness performance standard).Preparing recurring documentation, status summaries, analytical inputs, and drafting applicant-facing correspondence (e.g., requests for clarification) for Government review;
