Business Analyst III

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst III to support a large-scale Advanced Metering Initiative (AMI) transformation program. This role will focus heavily on supply chain analytics, material forecasting, operational reporting, and business intelligence supporting meter deployment activities.

What You'll Do:

• Analyze work-order and installation data to identify material usage and trends.
• Develop quarterly and annual material demand forecasts to support inventory planning.
• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards, KPIs, forecasting models, and operational reports.
• Analyze inventory readiness and identify potential material shortages or deployment risks.
• Partner with Supply Chain, Operations, Field Services, and Program Management teams.
• Analyze large operational datasets to identify trends, bottlenecks, risks, and process improvement opportunities.
• Translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations for leadership.
• Support future analytics involving smart-meter data, including pressure, temperature, leak indicators, and other operational telemetry.

What We're Looking For:

• Experience combining supply chain and data/operational analytics.
• Hands-on experience with SAP, SQL, and Power BI strongly preferred.
• Experience with forecasting, inventory/material planning, dashboards, KPIs, or operational reporting.
• Strong Excel and data-analysis skills; Google Big Query experience is a plus.
• Experience with large datasets and/or work-order management systems.
• Utility, energy, AMI, asset management, field service, or similar operational industry experience is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in business, Data Analytics, Engineering, Information Systems, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
