Brand Management Intern

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated MBA or Master's student to join our Brand Management team for a summer internship. This opportunity is designed specifically for graduate students interested in building a career in Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG), Brand Management, Innovation, Marketing, or General Management.


As an MBA Brand Management Intern, you will work on high-impact business initiatives that influence brand strategy, innovation, and growth. You will leverage consumer, category, and business insights to evaluate opportunities, develop recommendations, and support strategic decision-making. This role offers significant exposure to cross-functional leadership teams, including Marketing, Finance, Sales, Consumer Insights, and Innovation.

What You Will Do

• Conduct consumer, market, category, and competitive research to identify trends and growth opportunities.

• Analyze business, sales, and consumer data across multiple sources such as Circana/IRI and Mintel to uncover actionable insights and strategic recommendations.

• Support demand forecasting, innovation pipeline assessments, and commercialization planning for upcoming innovation launches.

• Develop business cases, financial analyses, and growth projections for new products and brand opportunities.

• Establish an understanding of the core consumer and translate consumer insights into actionable innovation recommendations.

• Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, Finance, Consumer Insights, and R&D teams.

• Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership.

Required Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an MBA or Master's degree from an accredited institution.

• Must have successfully completed the first year of the MBA/Master's program prior to the internship start date.

• This internship is intended for graduate-level students only. Candidates pursuing only a bachelor's degree will not be considered.

• 2+ years of full-time, post undergraduate professional experience

• Demonstrated interest in a career in Brand Management, Innovation, Marketing, or Strategy within the CPG industry.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience translating data into business recommendations.

• Strong communication and presentation skills.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in CPG and its supporting industries (Brand, Agency, Insights, Sales, Finance, etc.)

• Experience with consumer insights, forecasting, business analytics, financial planning, or P&L management.

• Confidence in presenting ideas and recommendations in front of Senior Leadership

Pay Rate:

$40/hr

Duration & Location:

• Position will start June 8, 2027, and run for 10-12 weeks.
• Traditional work week but with summer Fridays 8:00am-12:30pm; flexibility and off-site work may be required for project travel, experimental test runs, customer discovery.
• Interns will have the opportunity to participate in multiple events throughout the summer including leadership panels, a day of fun in Boston and learning sessions from various business functions.
• This position will be located in our Boston office or our headquarters in Lakeville, MA (about 45 minutes South of Boston – Exit 6 off of Rte 495).
