Make a meaningful impact in an elementary school setting by supporting students' success as a paraprofessional. This contract opportunity is an immediate backfill role working with elementary-aged children who may require behavioral support. Hours are 8:30am to 3:30pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch. The school is seeking a dedicated professional ready to contribute five days per week.

Ideal candidates will be able to confidently step into the classroom and provide effective support in collaboration with teachers and staff. Your reliability and experience will help maintain a positive, structured learning environment for students who need it most.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid paraprofessional certification required
• Previous experience in a school environment or with behavioral support
• Proven reliability in a full-time, Monday through Friday position
• Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and flexibility
• Ability to respond calmly and appropriately in challenging situations
• Experience supporting elementary-aged students highly preferred

Your Responsibilities:

• Assist classroom teachers in managing student behavior and maintaining a productive classroom atmosphere
• Provide individual or small-group support for students with behavioral or learning needs
• Follow established routines and individualized education or behavior plans
• Document observations and communicate regularly with teachers and site coordinator
• Contribute to the overall well-being and inclusion of all students
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to school policies
