Responsibilities - What You'll Be Doing
  • Conduct both routine and complex laboratory tests across various disciplines including chemistry, hematology, and immunology, adhering to established guidelines.
  • Evaluate test results for clarity, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and engage in the routine maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
  • Support specimen collection processes and prepare samples for analysis as required.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of all procedures, assist in training new personnel or students, and uphold quality assurance protocols in the lab.
  • Ensure a safe, organized work environment while complying with all regulatory and accreditation standards.
Required Education
  • A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a related allied health discipline, along with preparation for ASCP or AMT certification.
Certifications
  • Achieve ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of joining.
  • Maintain active certification throughout your employment.
