We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to become a part of our team! You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Handle all administrative duties in a timely manner
- Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff
- Communicate with insurance companies for proper billing procedures, insurance eligibility, precertification, etc.
- Escort patients to exam rooms and assist in the exam rooms, including assisting with minor surgical procedures
- Enter patient information into the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Clean and sterilize medical instruments
- Interact in a friendly and compassionate manner with patients
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in healthcare or other related fields
- Familiarity with medical insurance
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with electronic medical records
SALARY: Is on an hourly rate and based upon candidate's experience.
