Role Description The Practice Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Southeastern Massachusetts. The office is located off Route 24 on the South Easton/Brockton MA line. This role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a financial advisory practice. This role includes helping manage administrative workflows, coordinating client service activities, and supporting financial professionals with scheduling, documentation, and follow-up. The Practice Manager will help oversee office procedures, ensure compliance with firm and regulatory standards, and help maintain accurate client records and practice metrics. They will collaborate closely with team members and advisors to improve operational efficiency, streamline processes, and enhance the client experience. The role also involves supervising support staff, managing vendor relationships, and assisting with practice budgeting, reporting, and basic marketing or client communication initiatives.
Qualifications
- Operational and practice management skills, including office administration, workflow coordination, and process improvement.
- Client service and communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive information professionally and build strong client and internal relationships.
- Organizational and time-management skills, including attention to detail, task prioritization, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Financial services knowledge or experience in a related field (wealth management, insurance, banking, or professional services) is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with office productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite or similar) and comfort learning CRM, financial planning, and practice management systems.
- Leadership capabilities, including team coordination, delegation, and providing clear guidance and feedback to support staff.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, prepare reports, and support practice-level decision-making.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, management, or a related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Familiarity with compliance in a regulated environment and willingness to learn firm-specific policies and industry regulations.
