Group Fitness Instructor (Part-time)

We are in search of a group fitness instructor to teach roughly 5 classes/per week and substitute classes as needed at our boutique studio in Evanston.

This role is responsible for planning and leading safe, engaging group fitness classes within our signature class curriculum (HIIT, Strength, Cardio/Core, and Cycle/Strength). While there are certain parameters that must be met for each different class types, you will have autonomy to design your own classes within our guidelines.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated skills in Group Exercise and Fitness Instruction, with the ability to lead diverse, structured classes.
• Strong Customer Service skills, including clear communication, approachability, and a client-centered mindset.
• Current group fitness or personal training certification from a recognized organization (e.g., ACE, NASM, AFAA) strongly preferred.
• CPR/AED certification or willingness to obtain within a defined timeframe.
• Ability to safely demonstrate and cue exercises, adapt workouts for varying fitness levels, and manage group dynamics. xhyhwjd
• Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working on-site in a studio environment, including occasional evenings or weekends.
