Job Details Specialty: Med/Surg Telemetry Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse Assignment Length: 13 weeks Start Date: 11/02/2026 Hours per Week: 36 Shift Duration: 12-hour rotating shifts Shifts per Week: 3 Schedule: Rotating day and night schedule; assignment rotates every 4 weeks Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,940 - $2,040 Location: Columbus, OH 43210 Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend; 4 weekend days per 4-week schedule period Job Requirements At least 1 year of recent nursing experience required Previous telemetry nurse experience required Experience with cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation Experience with IV insulin protocols and insulin drips Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Valid compact or Ohio RN license in hand at time of submission Experience with any charting system required Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt in a rotating-schedule environment Responsibilities Provide high-quality care to Med/Surg Telemetry patients with a variety of medical and surgical needs Monitor cardiac rhythms and promptly identify changes in patient condition Administer medications and manage IV insulin protocols and insulin drips Support patients with conditions such as oncology-related diagnoses, COPD, sepsis, pneumonia, abnormal labs, and post-procedure needs Collaborate with the healthcare team to respond to rapid changes and escalate concerns when needed Maintain accurate charting and clinical documentation throughout the shift Follow safety, isolation, and infection-control protocols in a secure care environment Float within the organization as needed and adapt to unit needs with professionalism Apply now to join this Columbus, Ohio travel nursing opportunity and bring your Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience to a team that values flexibility, clinical skill, and quality patient care.
