Key Responsibilities

Strategic Advisory & Platform Leadership

Serve as the primary Salesforce platform advisor for Client leadership, guiding long term roadmap, innovation, and architectural decisions across multiple programs.
Define and own the Salesforce platform vision, ensuring alignment across Sales, Service, CPQ, integrations, analytics, and future cloud adoption.
Proactively identify platform optimization, innovation opportunities, and technical debt remediation.

Program & Solution Architecture

Own end to end solution architecture across concurrent Salesforce initiatives, ensuring solutions are scalable, reusable, and compliant with enterprise standards.
Lead architecture for complex, multi cloud Salesforce programs including CPQ, custom development, integrations, and data architecture.
Ensure consistency in data models, integration patterns, security, and performance across projects.

Delivery Governance & Technical Direction

Provide architectural governance across delivery teams, reviewing designs, guiding implementation decisions, and resolving cross program dependencies.
Direct and mentor Solution Architects, CPQ Architects, Developers, and BAs, ensuring adherence to best practices and design principles.
Act as the final escalation point for complex technical challenges.

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

Facilitate executive level discussions translating business strategy into Salesforce platform capabilities.
Lead architecture and design workshops, roadmap sessions, and executive readouts.
Partner with product owners, business leads, and IT leadership to balance speed, quality, and risk.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

Stay current on Salesforce roadmap, new cloud capabilities, AI/Einstein innovations, and ecosystem tools, advising Client on adoption paths.
Champion automation, standardization, and reusable patterns across teams.
Influence future state architecture aligned with evolving business and regulatory needs.

Required Skills & Experience

12-18+ years overall Salesforce experience, including enterprise scale programs.
Proven experience as Salesforce Program Architect, Solution Architect, or Enterprise Architect.
Deep understanding of Salesforce platform architecture, including configuration vs. custom development tradeoffs.
Strong experience guiding multi team, multi workstream Salesforce deliveries.
Excellent executive communication and stakeholder advisory skills.
Experience working with regulated or complex enterprise environments (MedTech / Healthcare strongly preferred).

Certifications (Preferred)

Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or
Salesforce Certified Application Architect / System Architect
Salesforce Solution Architect certifications

Travel & Location

Remote role with periodic travel to California for key program milestones, workshops, and executive sessions.
