Facility Housekeeper

Full-Time Cook/HousekeeperA single individual with a primary residence in Stamford, CT, is seeking a full-time cook/housekeeper as their current cook/housekeeper is retiring after 20 years with the family. The schedule will be Thursday through Monday from 11 am to 8 pm (through dinner), with a 1-hour unpaid lunch break daily. The client spends most of January abroad, as well as half of March, and so both these months will be lighter in terms of workload. The client has a second property in the City, though this will not be the candidate's responsibility. Summer tends to be busier, as extended family visits- typically 2 additional adults and 2 small children will live in from June through August, though everyone will eat the same food. Both Housekeepers will typically rotate holiday coverage. If scheduled to work on a holiday, compensation is paid at 1.5x the regular rate.Health Insurance: A health insurance stipend is provided, covering 70% of an employee's individual health insurance premium. Candidates must obtain and maintain their own individual policy. Dental and vision coverage are not provided.
