Software Engineer - Contractor

Job TitleJob DescriptionCreates and leads the technical design and development of software solutions. Proposes & designs software solutions to address complex business needs. Prepares technical and procedural documentation required. Facilitates complex problem resolution. Provides technical guidance and support to colleagues. Reviews coding, testing, and documentation of software. Applies modern principles, methodologies and tools to advance business initiatives and capabilities.Must Have Technical Skills1- Python DevelopmentStrong hands-on experience in Python (3+ years typical). Proficiency in:OOP concepts, modular designData structures and algorithmsPackage management and dependency handlingExperience building scalable applications and utilities2- Test Automation FrameworksExperience with at least one Python-based automation stack:PyTest / unittest frameworksSelenium WebDriver for UI automationPlaywright (modern web automation)3- Automation CoverageAbility to automate:UI testing (web apps)API testing (REST services)Integration / system testingGood understanding of:Test design (BDD/TDD concepts)Test data managementAssertions and validations4- QA TestingCreate and Execute Manual testcases for both UI and backend applications. Experience using Jira and generating Test summary reports.Flex Skills/Nice to HaveApplication Development, Business Management, Customer Solutions, Design, Group Problem Solving, Process Improvements, Pytest, Release Management, Selenium, Software Solutions, User Experience (UX) DesignSoft SkillsExcellent written and verbal communication skills. Self-starter, independent worker able to see through to completion.Education/CertificationsBachelor degree
