Emergency Medicine Physician

We areseeking a Locums Emergency Medicine Physician to provide coverage at a site inSan Antonio, Texas. Coverage is expected to begin November 1, with the sitebuilding its staffing team entirely through locum tenens providers.
Position Details Schedule: 24-hour shifts available
Patient Volume: Approximately 12 patients per 24-hour period
Coverage: Locum tenens staffing
Start Date: November 1, 2026
Responsibilities Evaluate and treat patients presenting to theemergency department.
Provide emergency medical care, includingassessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
Stabilize patients and coordinate transfersor admissions when needed.
Document patient encounters and treatmentplans accurately.
Collaborate with clinical staff to supportsafe, effective patient care.
Requirements MD or DO degree
Board Certified or Board Eligible inEmergency Medicine
Active Texas medical license
Current DEA registration
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
