Registered Nurse – Inpatient Acute Dialysis

Schedule: 40 hours/week with an every other weekend and rotating holidays schedule. The on-call schedule averages 3-4 days/month and includes one weekend per month.

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 40

Requirements:

• Current WI License
• AHA Provider level BLS
• AHA Provider level ACLS

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in caring for patients.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, policies and procedures, and standards of care.
• Document according to standards of care.
• Develop, initiate, and execute a patient plan of care according to the individualized needs of the patient, as prescribed by the physician and/or facility policy including patient and family instruction.
• Participate in department or unit performance improvement activities.
• Utilize clinical expertise to support the patient's longitudinal plan of care and ensure patient safety and experience by using critical thinking and appropriate escalation.
