Growth and Innovation Specialist, Sports (Temporary)

Role Overview TNT Sports is looking for an entry‑level engineer to explore and build applied AI solutions across the sports organization. This hands‑on role focuses on quickly prototyping AI‑powered tools using Google Vertex/Gemini and OpenAI, turning rough ideas into working prototypes that solve real problems. Curiosity and genuine excitement for building with and learning about AI are essential. If you are already experimenting with AI tools and building projects for fun, this role may be a good fit. Work is performed partially from WBD’s Techwood office. Responsibilities Build AI‑powered prototypes using JS/TS, Node, Python and modern AI tooling. Collaborate with internal teams to identify opportunities for automation and workflow improvements. Turn vague ideas into usable tools with minimal upfront requirements. Test and evaluate new AI models, APIs, and tooling as they emerge. Deploy and iterate on prototypes in GCP and AWS sandbox environments. Maintain and improve existing prototypes as they evolve. Qualifications Strong interest in AI and a habit of experimenting with new tools. Experience building projects (professional or personal) using modern coding stacks. Familiarity with AI‑assisted development tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Cline, etc.). Ability to work from ambiguity and figure things out independently. Solid debugging and problem‑solving skills.
