This role will play a key part in the architecture, development, and long-term strategy of integrations connecting Workday with critical payroll, benefits, finance, reporting, security, and other enterprise systems. Job Details We are seeking a Workday Integration Architect / Senior Workday Integration Lead to own the design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing improvement of integrations across the Workday ecosystem. This is a hands-on technical leadership position for someone who can both architect integration solutions and personally build them. You'll translate business requirements into scalable integrations, technical specifications, testing strategies, error-handling processes, and long-term integration architecture. The environment includes integrations across Workday HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, Security, Recruiting, Time Tracking, Absence, and downstream third-party systems. What We're Looking For The biggest requirement is deep, hands-on Workday integration experience, particularly Workday Studio. You should have experience personally designing, building, testing, deploying, troubleshooting, and supporting enterprise Workday integrations rather than primarily functional Workday configuration or administration. Core experience includes: Workday Studio EIB Core Connector Cloud Connect PECI / PICOF RaaS SOAP / REST APIs XML / XSLT Calculated Fields Custom Reports SFTP / API integrations Workday integration security The role requires 8+ years of Workday experience with proven ownership of Studio-based custom integrations and integration lifecycle delivery. Major Differentiator In addition to Workday Studio, we're particularly interested in candidates with hands-on experience in either Workday Extend or Workday Prism Analytics. You do not need both. Extend experience could include custom applications, workflows, user experiences, notifications, dashboards, and integrations with Workday data. Prism experience could include datasets, data pipelines, transformations, dashboards, external data blending, and workforce, payroll, finance, or operational analytics. Key Responsibilities Own Workday integration architecture and technical design. Build and maintain complex integrations using Workday Studio and the broader Workday integration toolset. Integrate Workday with payroll providers, benefits carriers, finance/ERP platforms, banking systems, tax systems, reporting platforms, and internal applications. Lead integrations from requirements gathering through testing, deployment, production support, and optimization. Configure and support integration security, authentication, OAuth, certificates, SFTP, APIs, and access controls. Troubleshoot complex production integration failures and perform root-cause analysis. Support Workday releases, regression testing, tenant changes, and post-go-live stabilization. Partner with HRIS, Payroll, Benefits, Finance, IT, Security, vendors, and other stakeholders. Contribute to Workday Extend and/or Prism initiatives depending on experience.
