About the Position

Job Title: CT Technologist Profession: Imaging Specialty: General Imaging Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12hr Day Shift Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: 2-3 years minimum License: Required certifications include BLS and ARRT-CT Certifications: BLS, ARRT-CT Must-Have: General CT experience from a hospital setting. Experience with various patient types including inpatient, outpatient, and ER. Experience with GE equipment preferred, specifically GE Revolution and Evo. Description: The role involves working with a range of patients, including some pediatric cases, approximately 2-3 a month, typically teenagers. The technologist will conduct general anatomy scans, calcium scoring, coronary studies, stroke alerts, CTA perfusion studies, as well as chest, abdomen, pelvis, and head scans. Procedural work may include biopsies and drains. The patient ratio is 1:1. There will be collaboration with other CT technologists, Radiology RNs, RRT, and the Code Blue team. The charting system used is EPIC. There is no floating requirement to other units. There are no weekend rotations or call responsibilities. Holiday expectations include working 1 summer and 1 winter holiday. All staff, including travelers, cannot work more than 60 hours in a week or 5 consecutive 12-hour shifts. Scrub color is flexible, excluding camouflage or denim.
