Exciting opportunity to work at Ocean Downs Casino only 10 minutes from the beautiful beaches and boardwalk of Ocean City, MD! This is a seasonal part-time role at our beautiful casino and racing location! If you have the desire to work for a great company, then we would love to have you! The pay for this position is $15 per hour.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Creates and ensures a fun-filled, entertaining and exciting environment where the flawless delivery and execution of service excellence is paramount.
• Transports guests in a safe manner while adhering to all established rules and regulations.
• Displays prompt, courteous and efficient services to patrons.
• Greet arriving and departing guests.
• Reports all unsafe and/or mechanical problems of vehicles to Director.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, including light cleaning and light maintenance on vehicles.
• Is knowledgeable of and actively promotes company marketing and promotional events and is proficient in answering guest questions.
• Communicate (both written and verbal) with and promote positive team member and guest relations.
• Maintain professionalism at all times when working with other team members and/or guests.
• Will deal with all types of guest-related situations in a professional, courteous manner and will relay all guest compliments and complaints to department management.
• Promotes honesty and trust amongst the team.
• Promotes outstanding customer relations.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

Required Skills And Abilities

• Valid driver's license and must meet the requirements of company Motor Vehicle Record Policy.
• Must be able to operate manual and automatic transmissions.
• Must have prior customer service experience.
• Ability to read, write, speak, understand or communicate in English sufficiently to perform the necessary functions of this position.
• Ability to consistently comprehend, retain, and/ or executes written, verbal and/or demonstrated directions, explanations and guidance.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and effectively communicate with guests, co-workers and management.
• Must be able to obtain and keep a License issued by the Maryland State Lottery Agency required of all Gaming Establishment employees.

Education And Experience

High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

Must be able to work in all weather conditions. Must be able to sit for extended periods of time without difficulty. Must be able to work flexible schedules due to the needs of the business, including days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
