Medical Assistant Certified

Position Summary Medical Assistant – on call position at Sea Mar Medical Clinic in Des Moines. Responsible for patient flow, quality care, and support of clinic operations. Responsibilities Follow protocol for rooming and exiting patients Complete all provider referrals for each patient Administer injections and distribute oral medications under physician’s order; perform venipuncture Assist the medical provider with charting office visits to ensure communication and documentation for comprehensive patient care coordination Education and/or Requirements Must have a Washington State MA‑Certificate or possess an MA‑Interim License and pass the exam within the 90‑day probationary period Must obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR within 90 days of hire date and maintain current BLS CPR throughout employment EPIC experience preferred but not required Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred, but not required EEO Statement Sea Mar is an Equal Opportunity Employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr Sea Mar Community Health Centers
