Key Responsibilities of the RN - Oncology - Travel

• Deliver patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Administer and monitor patient responses to all medications
• Guide patient care and activities of ancillary personnel while maintaining professional nursing standards
• Document assessment, plan of care, and communicate data to allied patient care providers
• Serve as a charge nurse and resource person for patient care, orientation, and teaching staff
• Participate in staff meetings and obtain required education credits
• Maintain confidentiality and represent the hospital positively

Requirements of the RN - Oncology - Travel

• Outpatient experience required
• Travel Experience Required
• Must read, write, and communicate in English
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• BSN Preferred
• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS)
• Successful passage of CCH's Pharmacology exam
• Skills in education and counseling of oncology patients
• Capable of working with terminally ill patients and their families
