Float Pool Registered Nurse: We are in search of an enthusiastic Float Pool Registered Nurse. In this role, you will deliver both direct and indirect patient care with compassion and dignity. You will liaise with physicians regarding any changes in patients' clinical conditions and must be adept at responding swiftly and accurately to alterations in patient status or treatment responses. Additionally, you will be expected to perform general nursing tasks across various departments with appropriate supervision and be willing to float to all units.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Exhibit supportive behaviors essential for conducting bedside reports utilizing IMAP & SBAR, collaborating with patients in their rooms.
• Deliver direct patient care, assess outcomes, consult with specialists as needed, and modify nursing care processes to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Conduct comprehensive head-to-toe assessments on all patients, including pediatric, adolescent, geriatric, and general populations, and perform reassessments as per policy.
• Implement a triage process to guarantee timely and appropriate patient care, accurately categorizing triage levels.
• Demonstrate proficiency in cardiac monitoring, identifying dysrhythmias, and administering treatment in accordance with ACLS protocols.

• Valid nursing license in Nevada.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• PALS certification (to be obtained within six months of hire).
• A minimum of two years of critical care experience in the ED, ICU, or PACU.
