Workforce Data Analyst

Workforce Data Analyst | Location: Cranston, RI | Contract | Hourly Pay Range: $50-$60

Our client in Cranston, RI is seeking a Workforce Data Analyst to support workforce initiatives within a federally funded health transformation program. This role involves performing data collection, management, analysis, visualization, and reporting to inform program implementation and workforce strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data collection, tracking, reporting, and visualization systems for workforce projects.
• Collect, organize, validate, analyze, and integrate data across multiple workforce initiatives.
• Support the creation of data definitions, performance measures, reporting standards, and data-quality processes.
• Support the identification and qualification of rural healthcare providers and monitor related initiatives.
• Prepare dashboards, reports, presentations, and visualizations to communicate analytical findings.
• Translate data insights into actionable recommendations to support program design, evaluation, and strategy.
• Assist with federal grant reporting, performance monitoring, and program evaluation requirements.
• Collaborate with project staff, vendors, and partners to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
• Research and incorporate relevant state and national healthcare, demographic, and labor-market data.
• Support coordination between workforce data activities and healthcare system planning efforts.
• Maintain documentation and handle sensitive information in accordance with confidentiality and data governance standards.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in data analytics, statistics, public health, health informatics, public policy, or a related field.
• Experience with data collection, management, analysis, visualization, and reporting, including federal grant reporting.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets, databases, data visualization platforms, and analytical tools.
• Strong analytical, research, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including healthcare providers, government agencies, and educational institutions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Rhode Island's healthcare, workforce, education, demographic, and geographic data systems.
• Knowledge of Rhode Island's healthcare and public-sector landscape.
