Group Product Manager: Payments

Ideal Candidate Entersekt is looking for a Group Product Manager to lead initiatives and outcomes for our EMV 3-D Secure (3DS) Access Control Server (ACS) product. Your passion for the payments space is only matched by your desire to design great user experiences while fighting fraud. You channel your expertise at the intersection of payments, authentication, fraud prevention, regulation, and user experience to develop and execute product strategies aligned with Entersekt’s strategic vision. You have deep familiarity with various participants in the payments space including Card Issuers, Processors, Acquirers, Merchants and Card Networks. You focus on building solutions that operate in highly regulated environments while rethinking how user journeys can be improved within the boundaries of these industry specifications. You’re eager to move the industry forward with your active participation in standard bodies and evangelizing for the customer. You’ve perhaps worked as an engineering or solutions architect and have gained hands‑on knowledge of various technical aspects around authentication, payments security and fraud prevention. You’re a product person at heart and can define product strategies, curate product roadmaps, and lead direct and cross functional teams in a hands‑on manner. Role This Group Product Manager role will be responsible for Entersekt’s EMV 3D Secure (3DS) Access Control Server (ACS) product portfolio’s functional and financial success. You will own the strategy and drive product development of product features that deliver secure and unique payment authentication experiences to millions of users globally each day. The role will require deep expertise of EMV 3D Secure standard and related protocols. You will leverage proven expertise to design and develop products that are compliant with PCI-DSS, PCI-3DS and privacy regulations such as GDPR. This role requires deep understanding of the various components, technologies and moving parts that make up Entersekt’s 3D Secure products, platform, and operations. You will regularly interface with payment networks globally to achieve multi‑party compliance and certification while promoting Entersekt’s unique value proposition. The role hinges upon expert‑level understanding of the payments ecosystem, EMV 3DS protocol, issuer authentication flows, and modern digital identity technologies. This position requires extensive and ongoing stakeholder management across Entersekt and beyond. You will guide and mentor other members of the product team while collaborating closely with Entersekt colleagues across commercial and technical functions globally. Responsibilities Lead a team through the ideation, technical development, and launch of innovative features and products that make up Entersekt’s EMV 3DS ACS product portfolio. Communicate product vision, progress, and results of these services to clients and stakeholders across the organization to ensure adoption and awareness. Define and execute roadmap for Entersekt’s EMV 3DS ACS platform. Develop product narratives, requirements and specifications for product features and enhancements. Represent Entersekt on global bodies such as EMVCo and influence standards evolution. Serve as internal subject matter expert on these specifications. Interface with Card Schemes such as Mastercard, Visa, American Express to champion Entersekt product offerings and contribute to best practices. Take a hands‑on approach to the design and implementation of rules engines and machine learning models to increase authentication success rates, minimize fraud and deliver great user experiences. Own and execute all activities to achieve compliance and certification for products in portfolio. Perform the role of product and domain expert to commercial teams in client pre‑sales engagements. Champion the design and implementation of Entersekt’s Context Aware authentication solutions across products and user journeys. Serve as external spokesperson and evangelist to media and industry influencers as required. Stay current with payment industry trends, opportunities, and mandates to ensure our workflows and products stay compliant and ahead of the curve. Own commercialization of the Payments portfolio including the development of full set of product documentation, knowledge‑based articles, white papers to implementation guides and API specifications, sales enablement and marketing content. Skills and Experience 7+ years in technology product management or related role. BS or BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or other technology qualification is required. Experience defining product strategy and functional specifications for payments solutions. Familiarity with EMVCo 3-D Secure protocol, PCI-DSS and privacy standards will be a huge advantage. Understanding of encryption, cryptographic protocols, and security best practices is also beneficial. Expertise in risk engines and machine learning models in e-commerce and payments fraud related use cases is desired. Good understanding of card payment flows, tokenization, authorization messaging. Hands‑on experience architecting and developing complex consumer‑focused multi‑component product lines in a regulated environment. Strategic and tactical experience designing, building, and executing scalable processes from scratch, ideally in an operations intensive environment. Proven experience in an agile, globally distributed software development environment and methodologies. Track record of introducing new tools and applications in both on‑premises as well as SaaS and cloud‑native architectures. A deep understanding of technical communication systems including the use of APIs to enable communication between the core platform, internal and third‑party integrations. Ability to leverage data and customer feedback to continuously improve throughput and performance of products.
