Blue List Assesment Analyst

Position Title Blue List Junior Assessor Location Charlotte, NC Employment Type Full Time Department Engineering / Software Engineering Compensation $60,000 – $80,000 per year Position Overview Evaluate unmanned systems (aircraft, ground, water, underwater) and support equipment for compliance with statutory and cybersecurity requirements set by the Defense Contracts Management Agency (DCMA) and the Department of War. Work closely with vendors and government entities, producing reports and research to support system design, development, manufacturing, and deployment. Onsite position with limited travel for conferences, events, and customer visits. Opportunities for Advancement Progress from Junior to Lead Assessor, adding responsibilities such as vendor communication, report validation, and policy development. Cross‑training in cUAS, sUAS, and other related areas; attend industry events and receive certifications. Required Qualifications 2–3+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Cybersecurity. Current senior college student in a related major with internship experience, acceptable in lieu of full experience. Nice to Have Qualifications B.S. or higher in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field. Applied security research experience, conference presentations, bug bounty submissions, blog posts, or GitHub contributions.
