Rockbridge Area Health Center (RAHC) is seeking a compassionate, patient-centered Physician to join our primary care team in Lexington, Virginia.

As a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), RAHC provides comprehensive care to patients of all backgrounds and income levels. You will practice as part of an integrated team that includes physicians, advanced practice providers, dentists, licensed clinical social workers, behavioral health professionals, registered dietitians, outreach staff, and care managers—all working together to address the whole health of our patients.

All RAHC clinical sites are approved National Health Service Corps (NHSC) sites. Eligible clinicians may qualify for significant student loan repayment in exchange for a time-limited service commitment.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the Commonwealth of Virginia, or eligibility to obtain Virginia licensure
• Board certified or board eligible in the applicable field of practice
• Current DEA registration or eligibility to obtain
• Eligible to participate in Medicare and Medicaid
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification with hands-on practicum
